With new health hazards ever-emerging and familiar obstacles taking on a whole new lease of life, it’s been quite a year for the sector. But against this gruelling climate, a set of ground breakers, motivators, and challengers have been shaping the face of pharmacy for the better – and it’s time to celebrate their efforts at the 2017 Scottish Pharmacy Awards.

The selection process has now closed and this year’s lucky finalists will find out who has reigned victorious during a glamorous gala taking place on 8th November at the Hilton Glasgow Hotel, William Street.

As well as acclaimed TV and radio presenter, Shereen Nanjiani, who will be taking on hosting duties, the evening is set to deliver a guest list of industry giants, and prime dining and networking opportunities.

This year our partner charity is the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) which currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland, providing mental health and social care support, as well as homelessness, addictions and employment services, among others. These services – together with national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity – inform SAMH’s policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.
