Members of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia recently showed their solidarity with the campaign in England against government plans to cut pharmacy services.

‘Lending you our support for the fight ahead,’ said guild Chairman Kos Sclavos, as he lined up with colleagues in Support Your Local Pharmacy t-shirts during a conference in Manchester.

National Pharmacy Association (NPA) Board Member, Umesh Patel, one of the conference speakers, told Mr Sclavos, ‘Community pharmacists in this country are very grateful for the support of the Australian Guild.

‘For the future of profession across the globe we need to support each other and you are an excellent example to us all. For me, it is a huge privilege to be part of that bond we have between our two countries.’
