Pharmacist Support is looking for two trustees to join its board from May 2016 – one lay trustee with a financial management background, and preferably charity experience, and one pharmacist trustee currently practising in one of the major sectors of pharmacy.
Trustees determine the strategic vision and future direction of the charity, and Pharmacist Support is seeking people who are able to think creatively and who possess independent judgment and strong decision-making skills.
Trustees are not remunerated. However, all reasonable expenses are reimbursed and induction and ongoing training is provided. There are four day-time board meetings a year, held in Manchester, and up to two or three additional sub-committee meetings.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on 18th March, while interviews will be held in Manchester on 27th and 28th April.
